On the initiative of We Demand Safe Road (NISCHA), a round table meeting on ‘Speed Determination, Management, Monitoring and Implementation by Road and Vehicle Types’ was organized on the second floor of the National Press Club at 11 am on Wednesday, May 3 at the ‘Tafazzal Hossain Manik Mia’ auditorium.
It was presided over by the Chairman of NISCHA, actor Ilias Kanchan. Road Transport Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Noori was present as the chief guest. In the meeting, Roads and High Ways Directorate, BRTA, BRTC, two city corporations along with journalists, representatives of transport workers and owners and road experts of various organizations participated in the discussion on the issues mentioned.
